NUTCRACKER: THE MUSICAL | DEC 14-17

Our VPS Studio Year-Long Programs are invited to perform in our production of “Nutcracker: The Musical” to support our cast of lead company performers.

On Stage Dress Rehearsal: Wed Dec 11th 3:45-8pm

  • This staggered Dress Rehearsal is optional where each class will get dedicated time on stage to come when it’s not so busy and practice entering, performing, exiting and bowing.

PERFORMANCE WEEKEND SCHEDULE:

As a reminder please arrive at the theatre on show days with your child's hair and makeup done, in costume and with a labelled water bottle and healthy and PEANUT FREE snack. A quiet activity for the dressing rooms such as a book, or a quiet game is also a good idea. Please ensure bags have names inside and are very small only containing dance shoes if needed, quiet activity, water and snack. No big dance bags or makeup please.

SAT DEC 14 / SUN DEC 15

1-1:15pm SIGN IN in the lobby - Students should be dropped off for sign in at mural lobby door at 102 East 4th Ave in costume with hair and simple stage makeup done ahead of time. (Hair & Makeup Directions are below) VPS Staff, Parent Volunteers and Teen Assistants will be there to escort them to their dressing room. At this time, we ask that parents say goodbye at this time and ticket holders can check in at the main VPS Lobby at 114 East 4th Ave. There will be a concession and bar setup 1hr prior to every show.

1:30-1:45 Mic Checks for Nutcracker Core Cast

1:45-2 All Students Welcome Chat and Fun Show Pump-Up!

1pm Lobby Doors Open

1:45pm Theatre Doors Open. Seating is General Admission.

2-3:30 Performance - There will be one 10 minute Intermission

3:45-4 SIGN-OUT at Mural Lobby door - You will meet your child at the mural lobby for the dinner break. You MUST sign out with our designated sign out volunteers identified by blue santa hats.

5-5:15pm SIGN IN in the lobby - You will sign your child back in post dinner and follow the same protocol as the afternoon show.

5pm Lobby Doors Open

5:45pm Theatre doors Open. Seating is General Admission.

6-7:30 Performance - There will be one 10 minute Intermission
